The Quantum SB-1 will run from the smallest 3 x 5 size up to 6 x 9 at full in-line finishing line speeds 2, 3, and 4 around. It is portable and can be rolled from delivery to delivery and may be ganged together for multiple stream outputs. The highest quality and most reliable bander, capable of running paper or film, has been specified for this system. Additionally, the bander may be separated from the basic stacking section, by means of quick disconnects, and easily moved from one Quantum SB-1 to another. Thus, a printer might equip his pressroom with multiple Quantum SB-1’s and fewer banding units to save costs.
