HSB-42-1-1
The Model HSB-42-1-1 provides heatset and non-heatset printers with an affordable, simplified stacker bundler with full-automatic strapping. It is caster-mounted for portability and features “drumless” timing belt design, rugged construction, and simple, reliable product jogging. The unit’s unique patented “quick replacement” delivery belt procedure allows operators to change delivery signature timing belts within minutes, avoiding extensive pressroom downtime. An improved bundle handling section features two heavy-duty, full-length, linear guided rodless cylinders for bundle support and bundle transfer. This allows minimal operator force to move the bundle to the strap zone.
Powered bundle discharge rollers, adjustable compression zone side clamp, and adjustable compression ram opening are all additional features; and a quick-change, fully automatic strapping head by StraPack or Signode is also available.
Model HSB-42-1-1 offers proven performance on a wide range of signature sizes and paper stocks, and is specifically designed to produce quality bundles on high speed directory, book publication and commercial presses. It is successfully used on trimmers and other in-line finishing applications. Its simple, rugged design leads to easy and quick product size changeover, as well as improved guarding.
